Is Scion tC a good choice?
im a foreign student here in the US and i want to buy a car as my first one.
im considering the Scion tC. so i have some question want to make sure.
1, does it cost lot of gas?? i know “20/27 mpg”, but im wondering the cost in real daily driving. Generally, if i own one, how much will i pay for gas per month? (livin in a small town and roughly 300miles/mon)
2, how much will i pay for maintanence? i know it has a 3years/36000miles warranty, does it mean any regular maitanence is free during this period? if not, or after the warranty, how much should i pay for REGULAR maitanence per year?
3, im not familiar about American insurance policy. does different kinds of car have to pay different insurance? for example, are the cost of insurance for a BMW and a Scion tC the same? how much for tC per year? (as i said, im a foreign college student, not american, and livin here alone.)

It’s very cheap on gas. And has a Toyota engine, so it’s reliable. And as for the insurance, that’s cheap too. I can’t tell you how much because it depends on your location and other things, such as how much coverage you need. As for maintenance, brakes, at about 50,000 to 60,000 should be changed, change the oil every 3,000 miles, and the coolant at about 70,000 miles. Automatic trans fluid at 100,000 miles, (If it’s an auto).
The biggest and most important thing, is you can only own that car if you’re a chick. It’s a chick’s car!
