Im having a problem with my 1965 chevy impala ignition.?
The problem i have is eveytime i want to start the car the starter clicks. The starter is new, and it did the same thing with the old starter. The engine has a very good ground the ignition switch is working perfectly. So the only way i could turn the engine on is by going from the starter switch directly to the positive post of the battery bypassing the ignition switch. What can be the problem with my wiring ?
usually that is caused by a poor battery connection clean your terminals/posts very well and see if that doesn’t fix it up………..that is exactly what he meant, you obviously don’t know what you are talking about. he went from the starter silinoid? (can’t spell tonight) to the battery directly.
